4815162342
ROTJ definitely has a better final act than TDKR.Both are a little sluggish around the middle. ROTJ's excuse is the whole Ewok meet-cute kerfuffle whereas TDKR became the Gordon and Blake Movie for about an hour.
Lordmandeep
I think ROTJ climax is far better. Best space battle ever, Ewoks were a bit much but still enjoyably, also the best scenes in the film Luke vs Vader and the Emperor. TDKR ends up a cool fight with Bane but then we have to deal with lame Talia subplot and the lame death scene.
ddddeeee
RotJ is much, much more satisfying.
Squaremaster316
I'll take Talia's death over a lot of the Ewok action scenes, especially the one where they infiltrated one of the walkers. Seriously, they tap the guy on the head a couple of times and he's incapacitated?

Chewbacca was also there so just pretend when the camera cut away Chewie kicked the shit out of him so he'd stay down. The only thing I didn't like about the ROTJ space battle was that there wasn't enough of it.

Dark Jedi Master 007
I haven't seen this in a long time, so IDK how I feel about it. But just to chime in on the current discussion: yes, Talia's death scene was disappointing, but Bane's death scene was just ridiculous. You have this great villain who has matched/outmanned Batman physically, only for him to die within a second. This, right after he was relegated to being Batman's watchman while Talia tried to have her moment of glory? That's always bothered me a lot more than Talia's death scene, which I just chalked up to awkward acting.

edroger3
My votes for Batman/Nolan brothers trilogy (italian version): Batman Begins: B- Is a good movie. But to see one more time. The Dark Knight: A+ Best superhero movie ever. Best superhero movie's supporting roles and screenplay ever. Ledger/Joker best superhero movie's villain ever. The death-scene of Rachel is enough to wipe out all the other batman movies. (Is the movie I've seen more times in my life with "The Shawshank Redemption", though I think that both will soon be beaten by Disney's "Frozen") The Dark Knight Rises: C: for the movie - E: If compared with TDK - R (ridiculous) for ridiculous story, screenplay and way to use an all oscar-winner cast - D (disappointment) for my best disappointment in a movie theater. disclaimer for vote R: Hardy/Bane is ridiculous character with a very ridiculous death scene and involved in the "most ridiculous plot twist ever ...." and unfortunately with a very very ridiculous dubbing in my language. I did regret Schwarzengger/Mr.Freeze Hataway/ Selina Kyle (most ridicoulus thief in the world) and Cotillard/Miranda Tate (also involved in the "most ridiculous plot twist ever..." and also have a very ridicoulus death scene) both winning the award "female batman movie's character more ridicoulous than... Thurman/Poison Ivy." Of course not everyone is ridiculous: to Bale/ Oldman / Caine / Freeman can not be associated in any case this word, while Gordon Levitt do his (ridiculous) best.
