I'm starting to doubt that these 2 will end up directing The Flash because their involvement with this project was before the whole Jonhs/Berg era on the DC films. I believe that Jonhs will be completely hands on with what the flash movie will be about which will most likely go against what Lord and Miller first set out to do with the character.

Yeeeeeeeeeee. I'm kinda sad that I won't get to see Lord & Miller's Han Solo, but The Flash seems a great fit for them too.

Man, the DCEU would have a brutally talented collection of directors. They've already got Patty Jenkins, James Wan, Matt Reeves, Joss Whedon and (though he's hit and miss) David Ayer. Lord & Miller would be the cherry on top of the gold cake.

No it's not. It's poo poo.

Snyder has done some decent films (hell, I actually don't hate BVS... I like it more than MOS :P). But as a whole, he doesn't do it for me. Great visual worker, but not a very good storyteller imho. Sounds like a cliché when it comes to Snyder criticisms, but it applies to my opinion perfectly.

Emmerich is a destruction porn visionary.

Now that's true.

Buuuuuuuuuut there are better destruction porn makers out there. Anybody who makes Godzilla '98 and Independence Day: Resurgence should get their "good destruction porn maker" card out :kitschjob:

This article from thr says if lord and miller want Flash it's theirs if they choose to take it.

"What will happen next for Lord and Miller isn’t clear, but they are in demand and have an open berth waiting for them to direct The Flash for Warner Bros., if they chose to take it. (They had left that film for the Han Solo movie but could return.)"

I actually wanted these guys to direct flash, but after all their recent issues with the Han Solo movie I would rather they not bring all that baggage with them into this project. DC should just wait for Zemekis already.

Disney NEEDS to keep driving away talented directors away into WB and DC's hands.

Patty Jenkins from Thor 2 to Wonder Woman
Lord and Miller from Han Solo to The Flash

That's kind of awesome

My exact same thought.

I actually kinda agree with that. Will they even wanna take on a franchise movie after their recent experience with Disney to begin with? They would probably need loads of reassurances regarding creative freedom and I'm not sure WB is prepared to give it.
