Honestly it looks more like James Cameron might've ripped off the idea of blue water people from Marvel...

Operative word here is teaser, not movie. That goes for any movie including Avatar 2. Well edited trailers and teasers =/= the whole movie. Heck, 30 min footage =/= the whole movie. I remember raves for Lightyear based on 30 min preview. We know how that went.
