meh...not feeling this. I also didn't get the humor. I know Barbie doll is popular...is this movie based off some book or something?  I didn't really care much about the initial teaser as I didn't get the 2001 reference but this trailer also isn't doing much for me. Maybe might check it out if reviews are great but otherwise meh

Didn't do anything for me outside of the first gag and admiration of the production design.

That’s a missed opportunity, they could have grabbed more people with that then The Beach Boys song.

....except it seems we've only seen a tiny %, which is a mostly good thing....

 

...but the 'real world' indication worries me that actually this is just going to be a remake of Pleasantville (well, a kind of inverted remake of Pleasantville).

Mixed feelings for me. Posters are brilliant and will go viral, trailer is just ok imho. I can see they are being careful about not revealing anything but this is too careful.

The movie looks great but I'm not sure how general audiences will react. I'm not sure who exactly the target audience is from a marketing standpoint since there's a ton of innuendo but it doesn't seem to be R rated? Gerwig can deliver but I could see wider audiences not sure what this is going for.

Trailer is absolutely massive on social media right now and reception seems exceptional, posters are going viral as well

 

This will be some sort of meta satire about feminisn and gender roles so the trailer is doing pretty much what social media wants it to be, anyone expecting some obvious things like the barbie song on it will probably be disappointed 

 

Anyway, looks fire and will be a hit, the question is just how big , but with a 100m budget i think they´re safe

the trailer was mid but I have faith in Greta. It looks like all this stuff will be at the start and the bulk of the movie will take place in the real world.
