I think it might do less domestically than BR 2049 but cross $300M WW due to overseas. I think this is likely flopping.

Kind of makes sense with schools and offices letting out really early or even being on break for Good Friday. Instead of starting 5pm shows or something, just take the full day.

Makes sense since Thursday before Good Friday is a strong box office day and they don't have to worry about breaking any three day records

Wonder if they'll be Wednesday night previews? I assuming there will be.

 

It does sound like WB is confident it'll be a hit if they're moving it up a day hence making a five day opening including Easter Monday. I think Indiana Jones 4 opened on a Thursday as well.

For a long range forecast, that's pretty solid, on par with The Martian and Gravity. I'm thinking $60-70m OW

I really don't think she's alone. Been saying for awhile that the marketing has zero female appeal. Gonna be a problem if true.

The zero female appeal likely won't hurt it, many films are male skewing and that doesn't hurt their grosses like Fast and Furious or any superhero film.
