Minority Report, War of the Worlds, and AI were fun but not top tier Spielberg. 

 

I'm rooting for RP1. 

I have a feeling RPO is going to more WOTW and Minority Report than Jurassic Park but I think it's going to a lot of fun to watch.

Im curious where this goes though.  I kinda want this to land hard, and by hard, I mean good.  Like SS, give me a movie where I don’t go, ambitious but issues.  Just, solid entertainment.

The BFG was really good but it didn't click with US audiences. I think having Warner Bros behind it really helps as they'll market the crap out of it.

Highly enjoyed The Post. One of the best films of the year. Spielberg’s still got it. Didn’t expect him to take on RP1 but it makes sense since he is responsible for so many of the 1980s era callbacks in the book.
