The first one is good, but it's also kind of jarring to watch today. It's just so completely far removed from modern blockbusters in every single way. It's kind of far removed from any blockbuster, tbh. Very much its own unique thing, for better or worse.

For better. People say it's convoluted, but that's part of the fun. Spy stories should make you wonder what the hell's going on, who's double-crossing who, etc.

The franchise has held up well, but I think it's a slight shame it's surrendered to action so completely.

I'm still waiting for Kittridge's smug face to return.

Damn, your friend’s good at cutting a trailer

Yes he's a god. He was the one who picked the Led Zeppelin song. At the trailer house he was at, he was just doing tv spots. But on Mission like 5 people did mock up trailers and his Won. Showed it Tom and Chris and THEY FLIPPED.

He designed the whole trailer around the song because the way the breakdown leads perfectly into the MI theme. He does lots of movies now, he did the Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows Campaign too, honestly havent seen him in like 16 months now though. Another follow Irvine Filmmaker alum.

They briefly had 'New Trailer Feb 4' in the bio on Twitter. Guess that's what's being announced on Graham Norton tomorrow...

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.
