Purple Minion
600-700M is a very wide estimate!
Quigley
This one is definitely opening above BvS in the US&Can. BvS had a higher late-night but that was 'cause Good Friday is a public holiday in certain states and most unis and schools were closed for Easter.

Because there are only SH films among big blockbusters. And upcoming years will be the same

Purple Minion
In the US, for the 2nd weekend WW estimates. #CAPTAINAMERICACIVILWAR landed rather sizeable $75.3M FRI, FC-forecasted $180M weekend, strong A @CinemaScore.— FinalCut BoxOffice (@FCBoxOffice) 7 May 2016

My point was that there's nothing wrong with a few superhero movies since they are very popular and profitable. Onri
-30% second day in Russia. Even BvS had 20% drop. Can't see more than 22-24M$ final, while Ultron had 33,3M$ with then ER. It can finish even lower with Angry Birds or X-men break out and no help from weather.

I doubt it comes near AoU OS. The second weekend holds in a lot of (major) markets are not as good after weaker openings.
Heretic
The only reason this will have a steep drop in the UK this weekend is because London is the hottest major city in Europe today. The weather is so nice, cinemas are empty. My local cinema has less than 20 people for the 1pm showing of CW, a film that just broke the 4 day record for a superhero film. Next weekend, films could drop very lightly/stay flat or even increase. Edited May 8, 2016 by Heretic
