Well regardless, Paramount is gonna look silly for announcing dates to the two Terminator sequels, before the film even came out. Like they say, don't count your chickens before they hatch.

It must cause bad luck. Sony did the same thing with ASM3 and ASM4.

Fox too. Fantastic Four 2 for 2017. I have noticed whenever studio does that, the movie ends up flat out flopping or bombing. These studios are driven by egoistic assholes.

Lionsgate set a date for Catching Fire way before The Hunger Games opened.

That MMXXL Sat number is too funny. With that said they are still in the green. This is why Budgets are important. I'm hearing ladies weren't too happy, not enough action, a little too dramatic.

That's surprising considering that most critics are saying it loses the dramatic aspects of the first one in order to have a lot more stripping.

And OTOH, JW is ending its 4th weekend and Universal still hasn't officially announced a sequel, let alone set a date for one.

That is because they can put it wherever they want. I wouldn't be worried either.

because CRUMBLING

IKR? It's almost like they wanted to see how the movie did first before penciling in sequels.

And now it's almost like they want to get a clear plan of what they're doing next before they commit to a release date.

But that can't possibly be.  ;)

The sequel is lighter than the first but I'm guessing the audience that the marketing for these films target aren't happy that they once again (this one could could've just as accurately been called Male Strippers Bro Out & Talk to Each Other About Their Problems) got an actual movie instead of softcore Channing Tatum porn. Oh well.
