It's kinda sad that you find it's sad that some people would rather socialise on a nice day that sit in a dark cinema

Bits are smart, suns out sluts out

Preach it brother.

And what about when you live in a place with nice weather 95% of the year?

Was in the pub garden on Sunday, it was around 5ish, around 22 degrees, warm but not hot and an absolute tank comes into the garden with his Mrs, sits down and after 2 minutes decides to take his top off lol. There's always fucking one

Typical. For some reason, I always find it funny when people get burnt in the sun in England.

Iron Man 3 was viewed to many as a direct sequel to Avengers. It turned off a lot of people too, for not being an exact sequel to Avengers

Let's face it, the main character of The Avengers is Tony Stark.

Avengers is Iron Man and friends. And people are shocked that Downey asks for 50m per movie. I actually think he's not getting enough. If Depp made 350m of the 4 Pirates movies, averaging more than 87m per movie (and will receive another reported 75 to 95m for Pirates 5, thanks to that back end deal), I'm sure Downey can do the same. And speaking of Depp, adding another 50m some sources reported he will receive for Alice 2, he might end up with close to 150m for 2 movies. That is insane.

Meh number, basically the same with ultron' first Monday after a lower weekend . Wom seems just o.k, based on the bo results , not bad but not great either . Definitely not the event movie Disney was advertising .

5th largest OW DOM is not an event movie? Hmm.

Fantastic number I also think it shows that Sunday was just a tad deflated.

But then again what do I know lol. I really want to see TJB and MD numbers

MD dropped 87.999994%. Anyone know what's the biggest daily drop for a movie in 3000+ theaters? I went back five years and couldn't find a bigger drop.

Nah, it actually means you live in shitty climate.

Sunbelt FTW. So much sun we literally don't know what to do with it.

Iron Man 3 made somewhere around 410mil. Civil War is headed for over 450mil, probably more than 475mil.

I also think people forget that the audiences for these movies heavily overlap.

How? it's OW is over $10m less than AoU and it's monday is already over AoU's. that looks like good holding power to me.

I think people forget how golden the marvel brand was at the time of release of im3.

I think civil war has done well in keeping the core audience intact which will be around 400 million for The Avengers film.

Any notion that Avengers 3 and 4 will demolish all records is silly.

Perhaps Avengers 4 can do more then ultron and civil war as it sort of thr climax of the buildup of this universe.

You may be thinking of the "Wolverine and friends" Xmovies.   Iron Man is one of the main characters for sure, but not way out front like the Xmovies.

Now if you mean RDJ is the most popular cast member, that's true.

It depends on how well the previous films are recieved, Civil War was coming off Ultron.. now since CW is probably the most avengers centric film before the next Avengers and people loved it, it can do nothing but help Infinity Wars. call me crazy but I still think Infinity Wars part 2 has a shot at $700m.

Civil War would have to have like a 2.2x multiplier to not hit $400m. it was locked for that ow. no way it is getting under a 2.4x multiplier.
