Yea I thought Logan Lucky and Hitman's haven't gone on sale yet either based on the markets I've checked so I don't think they'd have any presale numbers

As stated before, it's a little premature to say anything about the non-Dark Tower upcoming releases.

 

In my community, the only theaters that have presales up for Detroit, Kidnap, Annabelle and Nut Job are the AMC theaters. And where I'm from is predominately Regal, which only has Dark Tower presales up. In addition, The Glass Castle is so far only up in three theaters around my area, so that movie isn't even in a good chunk of AMC theatres.

 

Logan Lucky and Hitman's Bodyguard don't have presales up anywhere in my area, and just one look at LA shows it isn't up there either, so there isn't really a whole lot of data available. Even then, Dark Tower, Annabelle and maybe Hitman's Bodyguard are the only movies that should be getting noticeable presales anyway, since Detroit, Logan Lucky and Glass Castle skew old and lol Kidnap and Nut Job.

I do not know much about this but I am disappointed with It.  If i remember correctly, Spider-Man homecoming had about the same # as Star Wars.  Also, It set the record for most trailer views in a 24 hour period beating Star Wars and Fifty Shades of Grey.  Therefore It should be having at least 1 million, right?  Especially with social media.  Hmmm,  good # for Kidnap.

It's at about the same level as Ghost in the Shell in terms of Total Awareness and First Choice.

GITS numbers would be pretty fucking swell for Dark Tower with its low budget.

Over the course of 10 minutes, DT popped up on Pulse 42 times, Detroit 7 times and Kidnap 5 times. Last week, AB was at 28 and Emoji at 22.

 

DT is for sure in better shape than AB, however I would think DT would be more presales heavy. I'm thinking around 20M right now for the weekend. Detroit and Kidnap are obviously pretty much non factors right now. Wouldn't be surprised by sub 10M for Detroit.

It's doing quite well relative to all other movies not named Star Wars. It's first trailer is actually 3rd overall (IT is #1 by a huge margin. F8 is 2nd and quite close). But yes the first trailer did beat TLJ first trailer and FSG. 

 

SMH had same numbers at time of release as SW has now. SW at time of release will dwarf SMH number.

I am pretty disappointed they moved Polaroid.  It looked scary and I thought it was going to be a good hit.  I thought it was stupid they pulled Amityville.  That would have probably made decent money.  They should have had Valerian and Alien in August....both with IMAX.  Maybe the studios should employ other people to decide the scheduling.
