Amazon has added an additional 100 venues for their upcoming early screenings of the new DC Extended Universe film Aquaman exclusive to Amazon Prime users.

 

 

Amazon added these new venues thanks to popular demand. These Amazon Prime exclusive screenings will be held on Saturday December 15, 2018 – about a week before the highly-anticipated film makes a splash in theaters nationwide just in time for Christmas. There will be more than 1,120 showings at Regal, AMC, ArcLight Cinemas, and National Amusements theaters. Amazon Prime members can purchase up to 10 tickets through Atom tickets.

If I go by this trend.Mary Poppins will win the OW considering family movies are heavily backloaded generally.

Looking good for Aqua, Spidey, and MPR. Given that Aquaman's numbers don't include the Dec 15th shows, where a number of theaters have added 2nd, 3rd, and sometimes even 4th screenings, it's opening week numbers should be huge. Assuming Clint will get a bunch of oldster walk ups, but that Mortal Engines number is brutal.

No way, you have to keep in mind that Aquaman Tickets went on sale 15 days ago, presales tend to peak on the debuting weak and final weak, so for it to lead the presales on a day by day basis is super impressive.

Even more impressive when you consider that a lot of the demand for Aquaman this far out is still going towards the Amazon screenings.
