I was going to do a first update for BOP but two of the theaters still don’t have showtimes up for it so I guess it’ll have to wait until Monday 😕

BOP has sold 0 tickets at my local Cinemark for the 6 and 7 showings 

 

At the IMAX, it’s sold 8 for 7 while 0 have seen sold for DBox

BOP only has 6 tickets sold for Thursday at my local, and 2 more for Friday. This seems really, really poor if I'm being honest. Good reception will definitely help, but this is going to surely rely on walk-ups.

The local chain has 16 locations in my state, a total of 18 tickets across all theaters for all shows tonight.  Hansel Gretel has 60 for comparison.

I don't track regularly so I don't know (i just leech off of everyone else's work here, sorry 😶), more about how poorly Rhythm section is doing, less than a third of a PG13 horror movie which I'd think is one of the most walkup friendly categories.

Awesome stuff. This is HUGE. Another MTC plus you have data for entire weekend. That shows ticket sales are NOT skewed towards previews though overall numbers are tiny. MTC1 is more than order of magnitude bigger than this but that is skewed towards NYC/LA where the movie is doing well but its weak elsewhere for now.

3 is weak. Just ties Oct 2000, and without even having a double weekend.

 

Rhythm Section has a 29% audience RT atm, let’s go for 4

Actually it started with 0%, but it did grow up a little, lol.

 

I don't think this is getting an F, though. At least, everyone is saying it's better than The Grudge and The Turning.

 

Anyway, audiences are less forgiving now.

Like I said yesterday, the movie is catching up on lost ground due to its early pre-sales start. I'll admit I would have liked a bigger jump, and the tepid presales from other people here does have me wary. But as always, it's hard to know the actual trajectory. Still not impossible for this to breakout huge in its previews.
