Yes it can, but there isn't any indication yet pointing towards same. If Wed and Thurs were say $1.5M plus, then we can certainly see $8M weekend, else not really.

They still didnt report the wed number yet. Pain.

So far, both MK and DS are performing as expected. Just like Broly, DS had strong weekdays leading to the second weekend and MK  just like the other Warner/HBO Max releases had a bigger drop on monday and okay-ish holds the following days. Today and the next friday will be the true test for both.

If DS is able to hit 9m , that would be less than 50% drop from true FSS despite being a fan-driven niche film, proving how HBO Max paywall-free is hurting WB films' leg.  Going at this rate, this will break Parasite's 53m+ as the recent highest for non-english film
