DOUBLE TOASTED REVIEW

 

• First 15 minutes are great.
• Haley Atwell character terrible (because of poor writing)
• Ewan McGregor not really that funny
• Cartoons entering real world is the messy loud nonsense you expect/jarring with original Disney cartoons and first 15 minutes
• Drags in 100 Acre Woods
• Paddington 2 much better.
• Ending is horrible

The film could still be well reviewed but I remember all the excuses for A Wrinkle in Time earlier this year. I'm still suspicious of Pooh's reception right now because of that.

There are diffrences:The Marketing for Robin has been much better then that for AWIT; and the film just does not look as, well,wierd as AWIT time did.

Coulda sworn that was a middling review. huh. Maybe I confused him with someone else. Bob is an...ok reviewer. I catch enough false things in his reviews that make me leery of his actual critique, but he's entertaining enough, I guess.
