It's """"better"""" when it comes to its quality but it's nowhere near as fun as the other two (which fall under hilarious bad; Flatliners is just boring bad).

Yikes. Dunno if I'm getting around to this in theaters if it's boring bad.

 Does anyone even care enough (or better yet: at all) about the Flatliners remake/reboot/sequel/whatever it is to get riled up about spoilers? Its flopping could be seen coming from outer space.

Yes. I don’t want to be spoiled for when I may or may not watch it in 12-18 months when it hits the movie channel.

Tom Cruise’s ‘American Made’ Trying To Break Three-Way $16M+ No. 1 Tie…But Is That Worth Celebrating?

Updated, Friday 11:57 PM: Refresh for chart Don’t count Tom Cruise’s American Made out yet. No thanks to an unexpected slowdown in the weekend box office, the Universal/Cross Creek title is trying to elbow its way into first place, possibly upsetting 20th Century Fox/MARV’s second weekend hold with Kingsman: The Golden Circle and pushing away New Line/Warner Bros’ It to third.

Essentially, as of this minute, it’s arguably a three-way tie per industry estimates, with Golden Circle‘s second weekend at $16.5MAmerican Made approximately $400K behind with $16.1M, and It at $16M. American Made is winning Friday with $6M (including Thursday night previews) over Golden Circle ($4.9M) and It ($4.8M). In sum, a very different picture from what we saw this afternoon.  It all comes down to Saturday night.

Hah I might be right. IT could end up over taking Kingsman again (doubt it but funny that's a possibility).

4.9m Friday for Kingsman2 is a 150% bump from Thursday. Much more in line with expectations than +175% / 5.5m early number.

4.9 + 7.1 (+45%) + 4.5 (-36.6%) = 16.5 (-57.7%)

10-day will be 66.2m with a 16.5m 2nd weekend. Leaves it on track for 100-105m :

Rest of the weekends combined,

9 + 5 + 3 + 2 + 1.2 + 0.8 + 1.5 (rest including dollar bump) = 22.5

Rest of the weekdays combined,

60% of 22.5 = 13.5

66.2 + 22.5 + 13.5 = 102m+ dom

Shouldn't weekdays be 35% of weekends

Not much a possibility if those Friday numbers hold.  Action almost always have a better internal multiplier than horror.

With those Friday #s IT should come in around $15-15.5m and Kingsman $16.5-$17m

We have to count an extra Mon-Thu remaining in rest of the run cause 10-day cume has 2 weekends and only 1 Mon-Thu.

So I took the preceding Mon-Thu and not the coming Mon-Thu to calculate %. This Mon-Thu was 10.7 which is 65% of this weekend (16.5). Accounting for the fact that 2nd weekend drops are usually the biggest and make up a smaller % of the week, I changed the future weekday ratio from 65% to 60%.

So rest of the weekdays could be 5.25 + 3 + 2 + 1.2 + 0.8 + 1.25 (rest including dollar bump) = 13.5

if the rest of the weekends are 22.5.

Battle of the Sexes expanded to quickly, that pta sucks.

Crap for Flatliners too. 46% drop is quite nice for IT. Look at that total!

Kingsman 2 needs to do $100m+ and it sucks that it’s not locked down yet. Being #1 for two weeks saves a bit of face I suppose. This needs to beat the first film worldwide because I want one more film lol.
