Went to the Titanic museum in Belfast today as I fell in love with the movie last week. Really moving and gives you a sense of scale of just how colossal the Titanic was. Such a tragedy. Really good museum, if anyone goes to that part of Ireland definitely check it out.

 

It also made me realise the attention to detail that Cameron gave the movie. The decoration of the ship is exact. But also, and I found this really moving... in the museum it shows lots and lots of pictures of passengers, and names them and tells their story. And I noticed several of these were in the film. Not named characters, just extras, but Cameron had clearly taken an effort to find appropriate actors and clothes etc to memorialise these people. Thought that was very touching.
