Threemanji won’t hurt it tho. agreed. it won't factor like last time. The ball is in TROS park because it's the last movie. Twomanji was the franchise re-launch so curiosity factor picked up due to great WOM enough to cause problems to the middle SW movie that didn't exactly leave the franchise with the hook for the finale. But "the last movie" has certain urgency to see it while Threemanji is in the middle movie position now. It's probably the popular girl as Jonas because "The girl who crushed on the hunky guy is now playing as the hunky guy? Wacky!" I believe the idea is the nerdy white kid fixed the game because he’s feeling lonely or distant or something, and gets trapped. The rest come to rescue him. Idk what happens to the blonde girl.
TMP
I don't know, I thought this looked pretty cute and I think most of this Sony requels like MiB: I & Charlie's Angels look like hot ass.
a2k
Rolled my eyes when they first showed who was who but was chuckling by the end of the trailer. Good feeling about this one. They didn't reveal where Bethany was and as a teaser it made sense. These days promos reveal a lot. Maybe as Dec gets closer they will reveal it. Ipickthiswhiterose
Jeez, what a great start. Probably more legitimate laughs in this trailer than Adam Sandler's entire cinematic oeuvre.

Ipickthiswhiterose
Wait, what? Some of you don't think that this trailer is great? Boy, some strange taste going on here. That said, all the sleeping on a great family trailer that happened with the first one is already happening again with the Dora the Explorer trailer so goes to show some people never learn.

Dora is never going to be Jumanji lmao. Jumanji's performance is a once in a lifetime kind of thing. It's not going to be replicated. At least not with the release date Dora has. It'll be JW 2 over again. December is setting up to be mediocre just like the whole of 2019. Except for Return of Jedi 2 it really doesnt have much in direct competition aside from CATS till Bad Boys (CATS premise didnt work in mid 00s idk how it will work today). For someone who isnt into SW , this movie is the goto option for the whole of Dec-Jan stretch just like wut happened 2 yrs ago

John Marston
awesome trailer. In many overseas markets Star Wars should be shaking and they brought back Karen Gillan's outfit. Excellent
MikeQ
Looks good. At first I was a little iffy about the new personalities/characters for Jack Black and Kevin Hart, but I think they can work. Kevin Hart is the one I am still a bit unsure of, because it feels like he is having to hold back (and feels muted) rather than being able to let his natural personality shine. But he could still be really funny within the context of the film - it is hard to judge from a trailer. It looks like the action has been amped up - hopefully the story is as interesting/funny as the first. Peace, Mike
