From about a $125m opening?  Memorial Day w/e and summer days make that a near impossibility.

I think it's opening closer to $120M based on that Saturday number.

I'm still in the hospital, gonna take some tests tomorrow.

But the docs said my best chance for recovery would be for DP2 to open more than the first.

Nova! Go see this thing as many times as you can! You're my only hope now!

Get this thing to 135m!

I’m already going a 2nd time tomorrow with some friends. pM418QK.gif

It’s not gonna drop over 30% on Sun.

And it’s not gonna have a sub 2x multi.

Pull yourself together, man. I think you need to go to sleep and calm yourself lol.

I think it's dropping 35% tomorrow

And I don't think it's having a sub 2x multi lol Just saying that $250M total club doesn't look foolish like it did on Thursday

The meltdowns should have already been out the way after how preview heavy the OD was lol This is expected for me

Victoria Day should soften the Sunday drop a bit but say it doesn't - that's a 2.08 multiplier.

Let's put this in perspective - even F4 (2015) had a 2.18 in summer.

It’s not dropping 35% on its opening Sunday. Closer to 20% should be more expected.

Let us pray it doesn't have a similar multiplier as one of the worst if not the worst CBM ever made

It should be 20-25% but to me this film just seems like it's front loading as hell and it's drops have been similar to how Civil War did its OW. That had a 30% drop on its Sunday.

I don't mind that dp is opening less than the first.

I just hate that I'll have to hear "novelty in a bottle" repeated over and over.

i mean it's probably true but when you're a sad ---- like i am, one that reads forums all day err day, hearing the same words over and over can get tiresome.

but then again that's more of a "me" problem and I should probably read forums less.

that would be funny if members here (but most likely visitors) took ~125m OW Deadpool 2 as a sign that DP2 is not doing well and went ahead and ordered tickets to see it Sunday afternoon with the assumption that there would hardly be anyone there
