Jurassic World: FK has now overtaken Wonder Woman DOM and is just 4,5M shy of 1,3B Worldwide.

It added just under 5m globally last week. So 4.5m more in the rest of the run should be a lock especially with LD 4-day boosting dom a bit.

EQ1 did just under 3.0x (with 2.98x) and EQ2 could end up with just under 2.90x. Very strong legs considering it was a sequel and had much bigger previews.

Crazy Rich Asians had an amazing hold. It has been a long time since we saw a movie performing at such a high level hold so well without the benefits of a holiday weekend or a massive expansion (it added 142 theaters this weekend, but I'm thinking more along the lines of Borat's jump from 800 to over 2,500). With Labor Day coming up next weekend, it's probably in for another small drop next weekend. As far as projecting its total is concerned, it seems like the sky is the limit at this point.

The Meg had a very solid hold. It should at least surpass its $130 million budget domestically.

The Happytime Murders posted a weak opening. The ho-hum marketing and scathing reviews ultimately did it in, and legs should be about as short as those of its characters in the face of that C- CinemaScore.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout finally nailed down another really strong drop. The race to take down the second film as the top grosser in the series still looks like it will come down to the wire.

Christopher Robin also held very well. Unfortunately for Disney, it doesn't appear that the film is going to have enough gas in the tank to top $100 million, and there's still a long while yet before they have another release they could use to bump its grosses up.

A.X.L. didn't bomb quite as hard as I thought it would, but it's still an expected dud.
