So happy for Crazy Rich Asian's success. As an immigrant Asian living in Australia I do yearn for more representation in Hollywood films so it's good to see how great its commercial success has been so far. And of course the film was very fun to watch from start to finish. Give me more Awkwafina and of course more Ken Jeong is welcome.

It really amuses me how this summer has one film a bit under 700, one 600, ~400, ~300, and then the 3 in the 200-300 range will lol be so close to each other.

I really hope we'll see a run like MBFGW with this one. Those types of runs are the best imo.

I hope this is a start of historic run of CRA stateside. I would not be surprised if it increases next week over 3-day weekend. I for one never thought that CRA would have an outside chance to outgross Solo.
