Juby
My prediction - Top10 worldwide. 1. Fast & Furious 9 - $1.08B [domestic: $200 mln / overseas: $880 mln] - seriously, it is the only 100% sure 1 billion-breaker next year. 2. Mulan - $1.025B [domestic: $175 mln / overseas: $850 mln ~ $350 mln from China] 3. WW84 - $1.015B [domestic: $445 mln / overseas: $570 mln] - it might ends up with $380 mln in US, but I'm optimistic about it 4. Black Widow - $900 mln [domestic: $310 mln / overseas: $590 mln] 5. No Time to Die - $850 mln [domestic: $220 mln / overseas: $630 mln] 6. Minions: The Rise of Skywalker - $825 mln [domestic: $210 mln / overseas: $615 mln] 7. Soul - $780 mln [domestic: $290 mln / overseas: $490 mln] 8. "Some chinese movie" - $750 mln [98% from China] 9. Eternals - $720 mln [domestic: $260 mln / overseas: $460 mln] 10. Top Gun: Maverick - $700 mln [domestic: $205 mln / overseas: $495 mln] Venom 2 won't cross $600 mln worldwide, I don't know about Tenet, maybe (cause it might have a shot for $250 mln domestic).

Lordmandeep
Seems like 2014 or 2016 year no massive Global Hits. I am not shocked nothing in the next year or so seems anywhere near as epic in scale as IW Or Endgame. lilmac
Looks like it'll be a down year boxoffice wise, but that's ok. Not everything needs to increase year-after-year-after-year. The real danger is if Hollywood overreacts and thinks a decline in overall boxoffice revenue is a harbinger of the end of feature film. And we see a stream of top talent increasingly leaving for streaming platforms.

MrGlass2
2020 won't beat any record, but at least the blockbusters can't be as bad as last year.
Brainbug
Count me in the Mulan over 400M camp. After having seen the trailer a few times in the cinema, it just does look ... good.
JWR
I'm predicting that either Soul or Raya and The Last Dragon will beat Minions: The Rise of Gru to become the highest grossing animated movie of 2020.

CloneWars
My prediction is the domestic BO collapses this year. The last couple of years, the blockbusters held up the BO while smaller and mid-budget films have done worse and worse financially. I see this trend continuing and with no major blockbuster for 2020, I think the year may be the lowest grossing year on record since 2006. I know that's pretty bleak, and maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see any movie hitting more than $450M this year and we may not even get a $400M grosser. I know it sounds silly but it's a real factor. Jungle Cruise feels like the kind of movie audiences will just gravitate to in the middle of summer. I actually think the Pirates movies would have actually been better in December like Jumanji honestly. 1

More like the lack of blockbusters will give more room for mid-budget films to breakout. I'm expecting this to be the one of the best year for studios that aren't called Disney. There's even a good chance Paramount hits a billie domestic for the first time in 6 years.
