That's just comic book movies in general though. A DCEU movie averagely opens to 88m even with BOP and TSS keeping the averages dow. Even The Green Lantern opened to 50m, and that was 10 years ago. It's not just Marvel, it's all superhero movies

That doesn't contradict the point that SC should have a good OW. And I didn't talk about MCU average, I talked about the lowest OW. Their average is much bigger than 57M.

People watched Endgame at midnight because they didn't want the movie ruined for them. This doesn't have the same sort of secrecy. No-one I watched Endgame at midnight with has mentioned seeing this. I know it's ancedotal but so are all of our opinions

I think this could have made 100m OW pre pandemic but now I'm guessing half that. Still a good number given the times. DC posted their worst OW during this pandemic, I think Marvel will do the same with this personally

50M OW during pandemic and a month and a half of no competition isn't bad at all. And with China release, it should pass BW WW. We'll see.

Like every blockbuster  movie ever...good thing is that people also said that the movie has a strong ending

I think/hope that this third act is more like BP than BW, where the third act fight is meh but the plot threads are still paid off well.

Plenty of MCU movies have good 3rd acts and this could easily be one of them. Something can be a mess and have lots of cgi, but simply having lots of cgi doesn't make it a mess.
