Problem is, theres fanboys of every property that ever existed. The Pokemon fanbase, from what i have read, seems to be more chill though.

Best community remains the Godzilla fanbase. We just have fun lol.

True but at worst you’ll get some rule 34 porn

Good Lord, toss this thread in a fire.

And we haven’t gotten started, Imagine how bad the upcoming CBM, IX and the small chance of PikaPika we get a wave of fanboys weekend threads.

Feel ALITA 5-day will be aiming for 35 opposed to 40, cause have been liberal with holds here:

2.4

6.3 [8.7]

6.0 (-5%)

9.9 (+65%)

7.9 (-20%)

4.3 (-45%)

= 36.8

----

BTW, Happy Death Day's estimate went from 2 to 2.7 on VD. I think it can get to 11-12 6-day. That would probably put it on track for 20-25 dom?

I think Alita: Battle Angel should be able to increase today. 6 years ago A Good Day To Die Hard opened on Valentine's Day Thursday as well to $8,239,116, but has a measly 15% RT score and 40% Audience Score, and still only dropped 12.6% on Friday the 15th. Alita: Battle Angel has a 60% RT score and 93% Audience Score.

The counterpoint to that is how frontloaded some movies can be these days with previews. Not sure what the previews for AGTDH were but I'm doubting they were $2.4M. Hmm, maybe to compromise I'd expect a pretty flat number today.

Die Hard 5 (or 6? Whatever) True Thursday would be $7mn plus compared to $6.3mn of Alita. $6.75mn would be good I guess.
