Fans have been driving this ship all along, so yeah I'd say it is. To say the #AlitaChallenge has zero to do with our love of the movie is quite offensive.

Do you even know what the #AlitaChallenge is? How it originated? People who take it may love Alita, sure, but that's not why this particular embarrassing challenge came into being in the first place.

It's a little weird that a movie that's focusing on a female lead on International Women's Day is more male skewed than usual.

A shame cause Alita does deserve more love at the box office but the trolls had to pit it against a Marvel movie of all things.

The funny thing is I kinda liked Alita but the trolls soured me on it.

I still think Alita's good but a select few have also turned me off of it.

It really saddens me to see a film I love so much become the unwanted poster child for some stupid and downright deplorable cause. Just depresses me to no end 😞

I'd give this a like if I wasn't out, because it's honestly a shame.

And yet somehow only white males are the problem and are trolling this movie. I wonder how many white males are going to the cinema and paying money for this? Probably the biggest percentage of the audience.

Read to the end...

I just read the story, and and I got to say, boy did it take a fucking weird left turn. I was not expecting that at all.
