Both great movies.  I think I might actually prefer Alita, although they’re both really close for me.

Valerian was fun, tho. Incredible visuals and some good performances. Script was meh, sadly.

The people who said June was weak this year outside of TS4 were definitely right. This weekend is just depressing all around. Disney are going to have a ridiculous percentage of market share come the end of July. I hope the rest of the year isn't like this.

I agree with the end result, but not the level of liking them. Alita was a few changes away from being decent, Valerian is cancer.

Magneto's helmet and armor are designed specifically to stop Xavier, a telekinectic God, from shredding his mind to pieces. Xavier's powers can't really touch him, tbh, since Mags focuses so much of his electromagnetic manipulation power into creating shielding circuitry to protect him from X. And if X can't break into someone's mind, that someone is probably more powerful than him.
