Gonna predict reviews/response to be more similar to GOTG2 than Ragnarok from the trailer, but that'll still be strong enough for strong legs in the summer. For now 180*2.8 for about 504 DOM. 

 

(of course, GOTG2 is one of my favorite MCU movies, so if this is anywhere near as good I will be happy)

Interesting that Portman is getting the "And" credit while Bale is getting second billing on the poster. I would've guessed it would be the other way around.

We don't even know what it'll do in China, Jurassic World can do anything between 50 to 150 million in China. 

 

Let's say something over or under 100 million, still is a good lead.

 

And Universal is actually releasing its movies in Russia, so there's a chance it can get a release there too.

This is first film after a long time which is just going to be fun and not much into the big picture MCU and speculations.

 

Also they doesn't seem in anyways treating this as final Thor so I guess we get another. Can pretend Ragnarok was origin, this 2nd and then finale of Taika trilogy.

Alex Proyas did this right in 2004's "I, ROBOT": Equal shower scenes for both Will Smith and Bridget Moynahan. 😁

Bale can negotiate any billing he wants post-Dark Knight, I'm sure this was part of it.  I still can't believe they got him for this at all...but guess he was in the mood to have some fun...a little bit of that is needed for his career, I think.  He or his people must have thought so, too.

But have to agree with this.  Could be brilliant, could be a tonal mess.  My gut feeling tells me they really leaned into Taika's comedy here because Ragnarok was so successful...but it may have bitten them in the Mjolnir.  We'll see...

No respectable leaker ever said that. A guy in this forum said it but that has a much credibility as hearsay.

 

Keakers have said it has tested pretty well.

Yeah, i don't know how it was 2-3 months ago. But recently all reports about test screenings are extremelly positive. 

 

And Taika always shot a lot of extra things, he likes to do improvisation. He can have a cut with some jokes that didn't land, and then he take it and put another better joke in the spot, since he have a lot of different options, this is easy to do. 

 

There's really no reason to expect bad things, we always know when things go bad in MCU because everyone talks about it.

Gorr looks like 💩 😡Nothing like in the comics. I liked his design in the comics, one of the best. But here he looks like uncle fester.
