Quantumania with Kang the Conqueror requires crazy worlds of CGI and a thicket of multiversal issues. 
If you don’t like the whole CBM thing, that’s fine. Being against cataclysmic events in them is going to frustrate you.

I really dug the trailer and enjoy the Ant-Man movies in general.

 

Between this and BPWF, I'm hoping MCU turns the corner from phase 4 which was kind of lame tbh.

Trailer was fine. Neat visuals and looks like the scope is larger which is fine as long as they keep the heart of the characters.

Mixed/meh reception(high B+/A-): 110 OW/250 DOM

Solid reception(A): 125 OW/325 DOM

Great reception(A+): 140 OW/400 DOM

 

Thinking somewhat in the middle of these reception scenarios with ~280-300 DOM.

I mean, the Bill Murray stuff didn't really blow up until last week (yeah, yeah, his controversies have been in the general sphere for years, but all the headlines around him now are extremely recent), so I'm not sure how they could've recast him without pushing the movie back. That probably depends on how big his role is.

 

I did expect him to be excluded/minimized in the marketing, but that'll probably be the case going forward, though.

Trailer looks cool. I feel like this movie will surprise a lot of people (in a good way). I think it was a missed opportunity to tease the Quantum realm at bit in The Multiverse of Madness movie, because there's definitely some of those vibes going on here. Johnathan Majors is about to have good year in 2023, with this movie and then Creed 3 coming a few weeks after.

This looks very Guardians of the Galaxy meets Multiverse of Madness meets Disney's Strange World.

As a guy who is pretty checked out on the MCU, this looks like another one of those movies.

 

But it does have Gregg Turkington! Truthfully, I found the first two Ant-films to be among the more enjoyable of the franchise so I don't know, it should be a decent way to kill some time.
