The numbers make you wonder why fox fucked up so badly on Dragonball live action adaptation. All they had to do was stay true to the anime/manga and deliver some great visuals/action sequences with the right cast. I would like hollywood to take another crack at it with the right team behind it.

They are afraid that big budget asian cast movies don't sell, shangchi bombed, if you account for p&a

What must someone’s life be like that they wake up every morning, create a new fake account, and proceed to trash a movie … that doesn’t really even have a fan base who is going angry about in response?

Not even quality trolling, just sad

A $200 million budget live action DBZ movie would be a $1 billion grosser, minimal.

In my opinion, definitely. There’s so many people showing up to the theater where I work, and they have their whole crew wearing Dragon Ball merchandise. Everyone knows Goku; some might not be seeing this film because they haven’t seen Dragon Ball Super things, but if general audiences were given a chance to go see an entry-point live-action film, then it would definitely be a smash hit!
