How ironic is it that the only 2 Batman films I've seen in theaters to date is this one and Batman and Robin? Anyway-great film and great performances.A+

Ironic or sad? :lol:Interestingly enough, Batman & Robin is the only one I hadn't seen in theaters, I saw all the others on opening weekend (including Batman '89 which, AFAIK, is the first PG-13 movie I saw in a theater).Anyway, as for TDK, it's a great film though I still have a preference for Batman Begins.

May not be the best film ever made, but certainly my favorite of all time. Absolutely engrossing, captivating, inspiring, and brilliant. Timeclass classic that transcended its genre and manages to stand toe to toe with some of film's heavyweights when discussing best movies of all time. Whodda thunk it? A comic book movie. I love it. :D

I had not watched any Batman movie until I saw both Nolan films. I was not interested on this character. I watched both 2 years ago, at home... Today, The Dark Knight Rises is in my top 3 of most anticipated movies. I liked a lot Batman Begins, but TDK is just a masterpiece. A+

Everyone talks about how great the Joker is yet brushes aside that the film created and then dismissed Two-Face in about 30 minutes. Great as the bulk of the film is, it's horrid in that it wastes an iconic villain (though I'll grant that the scene with Dent and Gordon at the end was pretty powerful) for a minor payoff with Batman on the run.

I don't think there's much to say here except that this movie is almost perfect. I still like it more and more with each viewing. Such a shame it wasn't nominated for best picture.A/A+

How does this NOT have three or four pages of posts yet? Is this not the place where former Mojoers hang out? :huh:Anyway, this movie rocked my world when I saw it. I never thought that Heath Ledger could pull off that performance of the Joker. Christian Bale is my favorite Batman. The only flaw I could see in it was that they should've kept Katie Holmes instead of Maggie Gylenhall (or however you spell her name).Solid A.

I gave it a B. Fantastic performances from Ledger and Eckhart, I loved their characters and THEIR stories. But, I can't stand Bale as Batman, I think he's horrible, and I could do without the crappy love story. The best comic book movie in my opinion, was The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in 1990.
