I wait for this for 13 years, i can't believe it's happening 

 

And i'm also very happy that we're getting reactions from actual critics and association/awards members so i think it's unlikely the reviews will be very different than the reactions. 

 

I'm feeling good about Dune / Nope reception (mid 80's on RT with pretty good average and mid to high 70's on metacritic).

Its interesting if you watch her Youtube reactions to the teaser and first trailer. She starts out all gobby but you can see her face change while watching, and she shuts up lol.

 

She was also one of those 'AVATAR is anti human' people, so for her to change her mind, i'm going to take thats as a good sign because a few other reviews mentioned how it does NOT paint humans in a good light this movie.

 

Also is it just me or are the critic reviews getting even better as the hours go by?.

NWH did 230 in 2022 and january and the first half of february is arguably even emptier this year, is there any reason to expect a cameron movie with great wom and with no competition to do less than nwh?

First of all, I've given 259M for A2, more than NWH. Secondly, NWH had ungodly late legs. It's already close to the ceiling that there's not much room for improvement. Third, lose of PLFs and 3D throughout Jan and early Feb might hurt it more than we expect it to. Remember that Avatar had unremarkable holds after it lost premium screens and 3D (to Alice in Wonderland).

That seems like an awfully low preview multiplier to me
