I think the budgets will be trimmed further, maybe not to Illumination levels but $90-100m. I think DWA overextended themselves when they started making 2-3 films a year and the quality novedived.

`

Alas, even on the downside DWA quality is still higher than Illumination but it probably won't be for long.

I don't know what you guys are whining about, kids will like this and it seems like an enjoyable albeit forgettable time for the parents.

We're not the target demo for it, that's why.

I think it'll do well. DWA films have a decent track record anyways

Interesting thing is.....this is Alec Baldwin's third Dreamworks-animated film he's been in.

I honestly don't find him voicing a baby, that shocking at all. I mean, he voiced a lion named Makunga (the main villain in Madagascar 2), and also the Santa Claus himself...North, in Rise of the Guardians. What's gonna be different about this role?

So i don't find Alec Baldwin voicing the baby here, that surprising, nor shocking. I think Alec Baldwin can be good at voicing an unusual kind of character. Wherever be the Santa Claus, a lion or a baby.
