Top 5 DOM for the year

1. Pika Pika

2. Frozen 2

3. Endgame

4. The Lion King

5. Star Wars 9

I'm not a believer that Pika will be huge DOM... WW yes.

I'm also believe that SW9 will be the opposite... big DOM and lousy WW

And I'm not sure what makes LK better than the original?  Pretty graphics?  I wouldn't even put it in the top 5 yet.

1. Endgame

2. SW9

3. Frozen II

After that... who knows

Yeah this is increasing

Wait I changed my mind, so many, if not all sequels that go darker and weirder than the first drops (Ultron, Prisoner of Azkaban, Fallen Kingdom, Last Jedi, etc.)

If it goes too dark (or dull) the GA might get turned off

I just hope the plot and soundtrack are as good as the original

On the flip side, the change in tone may help bring in new viewers (especially adult males). The first film was more female-skewing.

DOM for me at the start of this month was

1. TLK: $750M

2. Avengers Endgame: $700M

3. Episode IX: $600M

4. Frozen 2: $500M

5. Toy Story 4: $450M

Dunno maybe I'm underestimating Frozen 2 now and overestimating Toy Story 4. And I think Pikachu is gonna do great Worldwide but it ain't challenging the Top 4 at all in North America.

Not to mention, considering the lack of big movies since The Lion King, audiences will be hungry for a blockbuster, as well as the fact the sort of young adult tone may bring back The now 13-14 year old girls who saw Frozen.

Yeah, I just don’t see those TS4 numbers especially after the 1-2-3 hit of Pika-Aladdin-Pets 2. The trailers haven’t caught fire the way Incredibles 2 or even Dory has.

I dunno. Im not even that bad at Latin (i think) but im shitting myself anyway.

Unrelated to the movie, but I feel your pain, I had two exams in the last week, both of which I failed. I'm taking them again next week and I'm shitting myself already, lol. Good luck!

Also, trailer looks spectacular, while Frozen isn't my favourite WDAS movie of the last decade (all hail queen Moana, the ruler of Disney, next to TLK and BaTB), I still like it and the epicness of the trailer is just spectacular.

Again, I would be interested to know how this compares to Incredibles 2, if anyone has that kind of information or happens to know off hand. How many hours are we at since the teaser dropped?

Nevermind, just checked for myself. The trailer dropped on the Walt Disney Animation Studios channel 9 hours ago.

That was an amazing trailer, a relief after that dreadful Aladdin trailer. Looks epic and very cinematic. The animation is top notch especially the ocean scene. This is gonna be this years Incredibles 2 in terms of box office. And if the animation is as good, and the tone as epic as in the trailer then it will be even better received than Incredibles 2.
