At first, after the teaser, I was not interested in the movie and would have skipped it in theatre. But man that trailer was nice. It was funny and that animation style is definitely interesting. I think I will see this on the big screen after all.

December 25th 2018 is on Tuesday, anything not listed or limited likely to go wide then.  Nothing scheduled I don't think for December 28th.  Might get three full weeks of 3,000+ nationwide showings.  On the third Friday, 1/4/19, only one movie is scheduled and it is a horror movie from Paramount.  12/31 - 1/3 weekdays will enhance 3 week / 21 day total.

Apparently this is getting a New York Comic-Con panel, though the trailer could premiere prior to that if they want it to be in front of Venom
