Must not be Oscar-caliber or what?

Still am thinking Cloverfield https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1060277/awards?ref_=tt_awd

but it could always rank amongst some of the other classics like Virus, Geostorm, and Sunshine.

BOpro predicts only 14/37.  They are crazy. shark movies have their audience

The Shallows made $55M and 47 Meters Down made $44M so it's not like they are that far off the mark. Although with the budget this reportedly has it could make The Shallows numbers and still be a big bomb.

These posters are incredible.

Behind this poster there is more than just opening wide. Beneath this poster there is a shark opening its mouth wide, and sharks are so freaking huge.

That's a very firm grasp of the situation.

Deep Rising will always remain my favorite tongue firmly planted in cheek sea monster film. However, this is looking like it may top Deep Blue Sea as a close second. Advertisement suggests they're in on the joke, but not in a way that cheapens the product.

That movie was awesome, I probably haven't seen it in 20 years or so
