At Keyser's 5:30 PM PST update BW was at around 726k between the two MTC. @keysersoze123 I don't know if you are planning on doing that update today, but if Deadline's estimate is accurate, Shang-Chi should be around 450k between the two MTC at that point.

In the run that finished about 10 minutes ago (it took 2.5 hours!!) Shang-Chi was at 200433. It has already doubled what I had for TSS final at MTC2. 

 

Final should be 225k minimum but most likely higher than that (would comp to at minimum 18.2 with TSS).

By morning I suppose it will be ahead of Fri. Could have quite a solid increase actually. Especially since given the walkup trend today it's not playing frontloaded.

The Card Counter has showtimes available at my AMC for next weekend. 3 seats for the 7pm Thursday. 1 for the 720 Friday. Not that I really expected PS for this film but I hoped it would attract a hipster demo like A24 even though Focus lacks the brand. The reviews are good and it's an adult drama but I'm afraid it's going to flop.

Actually things have been quite like this since reopening. Tracking here tend to overshot for Thursday preview but Fri generally come above tracking. So I wasn't really disappointed by the 8.8m preview

Yeah I think we have more than enough data now to call this a trend. For whatever reason it seems like Thursdays are more mtc loaded in this new environment, but Th:Fri multipliers are boosted.

Really? That's disappointing. Focus dropped Stilwater in 2500 (of course Damon is a bigger star). Less than their wide releases of Downton Abbey, Harriet, Hanna, The American. Zookeeps Wife opened to 500 but hit 1000 few weeks after

Malignant is only on sale at Cinemark here. No Thursday showings. 0 tickets sold for 3 shows

 

EDIT: Actually, I’m wrong. Just checked. It begins Friday at ANC, as well. 1 ticket for 440 and 0 for 755
