It doesn't matter how shameless or nonsensical it is, its there because unfortunately thats what the majority of the fandom wants. I think Disney took all the wrong lessons from the reaction to TLJ. Getting this show in front of reviewers is: 1] A way to build up hype among the GA 2] A way to help set expectations for the fans so we don't get a mismatch in expected tone/style like we did in TBoBF 3] Not gonna stop things from getting out that the studio doesn't want out since you can enforce NDAs from screeners. Not to mention that Kenobi looks to be a pretty leaky production if the volume of almost-entirely-ignored-by-your-truly chatter over at SW Leaks is any indication. It's just...
