It's like how Dooku interaction in TCW was made to work with ROTS. Words will be interpreted in creative ways.

I mean, it's not like this "from a certain point of view" phenomenon isn't a loooooong tradition in SW.  Might as well embrace it.

Still don’t understand how Vader interaction continuity is supposed to work with IV

Lol this is the company that gave CG Luke his own episode in The Bore of Boba Fett.  It doesn't matter how shameless or nonsensical it is, its there because unfortunately thats what the majority of the fandom wants.  I think Disney took all the wrong lessons from the reaction to TLJ.  CG Luke was so bizarre and out of left field and felt like some sort of atonement for his handling in the ST.

There wasn't anything nonsensical about the CG Luke.

Sigh.

Not to pick at a scab, but... Getting this show in front of reviewers is:

1] A way to build up hype among the GA

2] A way to help set expectations for the fans so we don't get a mismatch in expected tone/style like we did in TBoBF

3] Not gonna stop things from getting out that the studio doesn't want out since you can enforce NDAs from screeners.

Not to mention that Kenobi looks to be a pretty leaky production if the volume of almost-entirely-ignored-by-your-truly chatter over at SW Leaks is any indication.

It's just... Nearly maddening how much they idolize secrecy over there.

Interview with Rupert Friend, who plays the Grand Inquisitor in Obi-Wan Kenobi:

Quote

Tell me about the lightsaber. It looks awesome.

It is phenomenal. It's double ended, as you've seen in some of the early-release artwork. So he can use it with one or both of the ends. He can turn it into a whirling blade. He can fly with it. It's pretty kick-ass.

Okay okay, it's not actually real real until it's on the screen.  But, still...
