Rogue One jumped just 9% on its Third Friday. TLJ staying flat is certainly not out of the range of possibility.

Yep. Rogue One’s third weekend is a huge negative outlier compared to everything else in 2011 and 2016. Last Jedi has more in common with Rogue One than those tiny movies we keep comparing from 2006.

I don’t think Jumanji 3 will be able to capture the same interest as the big selling point of Jumanji 2 was the body swap idea. Novelty doesn’t resell.

I have to say, TLJ's weekdays(other than Christmas) have been very solid this week. Chance of above 650m seemed like a real possibility.

 

but if Friday really comes in at 19m, and it has a weak sat increase, the nightmare starts again.

maybe they're gonna bring the game back into the real world again? Unfortunate that Robin Williams has passed; im sure they would have asked him to come back.

2017 box office will be remembered for one movie... Last Jedi DOM (North America) never had a chance at Wolf Warrior 2 DOM (China). All hail the Frank Grillo Effect. Winter Soldier and Civil War didn't break out by accident, folks. They only foreshadowed the $850M+ China gross of Wolf Warrior 2... We all should have saw it coming. Grillo. He's like casting 10 Dwayne Johnson's in a movie.
