Well, yesterday on MT Aquaman was usually around 23-24% and MPR was 16-17% (and AQM made 2x as much overall) so I wouldn't put too much into it.   23-21 right now.

Plus shm is really a versatile 'genre' (if it can even be considered a genre at all). While the current movies are mostly action/ action-comedy, there are so much more they could do: Watchmen is neo noir  and The Joker looks more like a thriller than the "traditional" shm. Western style films can be made with characters like Jonah Hex and with horror we have John Constantine, Swamp Thing and other magic users. Even Batman himself can be used in a murder mystery film. 

 

I think in the next decade we will see DC and Marvel be more experimental with their movies.

Mostly a lot of ridicule and laughter. I think there were one or two posts saying there was a sub-100 chance (admittedly most weren’t). It was more of a tone thing than specific numbers.

Before release, someone at Sony pulled the excuse of the movie "just finishing editing" as the reason it didn't screen for critics.
