Will Nolan live long enough to become the villain ?

Like Spielberg and Lucas before him ?

Dunkirk had glowing reviews but the bros weren't too hot on the movie.

Spielberg is not the villain. At least not yet.

For other up-for-awards-people that Nolan may/could cast, maybe Rachel Weisz? She fits the conventional Nolan female mould (attractive brunette).

Weisz was considered for The Dark Knight Rises at one point. He likes his past/future awards winners.

I also would like to see Nolan consider upcoming British talent such as Hannah John-Kamen.

He writes dialogue better than Lucas, and I don't see him going for Spielberg's work rate, so hopefully he shouldn't.

I challenge you to find any exchange of dialogue in a Nolan film that's better than the original Star Wars.

Chris Nolan can do many things, write dialogue is not one of them.

Directing audio mixes well is another...

"I never said thank you."

"And you'll never have to."

In just two simple sentences, decades of the the Batman-Gordon dynamic is crystallized. That's understated yet powerful dialogue I'd put up against any SW scene. :)
