Are you not interested in it? I’m intrigued and sold with their concept previously. They just can’t seem to crack everything about it yet which is a bummer.

well I'm uninterested in it because they never revealed much about it... no reason for me to have a preference one way or another.

Has Disney ever released 4 animated movies in 1 year? (would likely be 2 from each studio)

Yes, in 2000: Fantasia 2000 (January IMAX/June wide), The Tigger Movie (February), Dinosaur (May), and The Emperor's New Groove (December).

This is what they should've done during that Florida thing. Be silent and let it blow over in a week.

Out of touch Democrat's are fuming that they can't run their overly aggressive Ads about abortion in the middle of The Golden Girls, as if people are excited to see Ads and political Ads in the first place.

My takeaway from this is "people actually watch the ads on Hulu?" I'm always quickly doing other things during those two minutes lmao and I'm a heavy consumer of the streaming service (use it more than Netflix at this point).

“After a thorough review of ad policies across its linear networks and streaming platforms over the last few months, Disney is now aligning Hulu’s political advertising policies to be consistent with the Company’s general entertainment and sports cable networks and ESPN+,” a Disney spokesperson told The Hill.

“Hulu will now accept candidate and issue advertisements covering a wide spectrum of policy positions, but reserves the right to request edits or alternative creative in alignment with industry standards,” they said.

The Washington Post reported on Monday that the platform had had a policy against running advertisements considered controversial.

Updated film slate. Confirms the February 24' MCU film is still on the schedule despite being skipped over at SDCC. Rogue Squadron is still on the calendar for next year and the 2025/2027 SW films are still there. Now, to guess what the 7 untitled MCU films are....

Feb 24' - Deadpool 3
Feb 25' - Eternals 2 (sequel or derivative)

July 25' - Mutants

Feb 26' - Nova / Adam Warlock
May 26' - Doctor Strange 3

July 26' - Young Avengers

Nov 26' - Shang Chi 2

LOL Disney caved. They’ll start airing political ads now.

I believe this is the correct call. They should have never made it public, but as long as the ad is not showing some illegal stuff or porn or something they should accept it on Hulu. Those political ads pay well too. What they shouldn't do though is accept ads from one side and block ads from the other side. That will open them up for attention they don't need or want. Take money from both sides.

I think I only agree with Deadpool 3. If they start shooting in Jan/Feb 2023 it will be enough time to make the Feb 2024 date. The rumor on mutants is they can't start production until 2025, but maybe a derivative name and/or some random teams (i.e. Excalibur, Marauders, etc) could be a loophole. I still doubt it though.

I thought Eternals sucked so I don't care for a sequel. If it comes it might be in Phase 7 for the new saga. Nova is rumored to be a D+ series. Strange 3 seems like a maybe, but more likely in Phase 7 as well for the "Eternity" saga. Shang Chi 2 is too soon and close to Kang Dynasty (I would assume Destin Daniel Cretton would be directing that).

A new "Avengers" movie within a year after 2 other HUGE Avengers movie is too soon. Plus I think Young Avengers (which really is a spin off of the Avengers) is a Disney+ show instead. They may want to save that "Avengers" name for HUGE events. By 2026 those young kids will be in theirs 20s and maybe 30s. Might be too late for that anyways.
