Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice | 532m overseas | 851m Worldwide

This is gonna have a HUGE opening here in Indonesia. Some theaters are using all of their screens for BvS, and there's a theater with 47 shows in a day for this movie! And I think almost all of them were 100% full or close to it. The thing is, BvS was supposed to be the first big blockbuster movie of 2016 and since 2012, almost every blockbuster movie that was released first that year ended up being the biggest movie of the year (The Avengers, IM3, FF7). But then Deadpool came out of nowhere and kinda stole the thunder. No doubt BvS will outgross it, and could still be the biggest movie of 2016, but I think BvS would've made more without Deadpool.

TDKR ow was 4.2 million

MOS 3.9 OW

AOU 4.8 OW

I don't know how OW work in spain but provided it doesn't fall of a cliff it seems like AOU numbers are possible

OW in Spain is usual Fri-Sun. Batman V Superman was released on Wed, just before Easter Holiday where Thurs and Fri are national holidays in all country.  This means Wed acted like a Friday. It was expected to open good given the release date, but maybe not THAT good. It has a very good chance of outgrossing Age of Ultron (13m+) and The Dark Knight Rises (15m+).

Forbes: "Regarding yesterday’s big openings, we’ve got Mexico, which debuted with $5.8 million including record-breaking midnight showings. It’s the largest opening day in history in said market for a WB movie."

Can't wait to see the numbers in lc, it's massive for a single day and may be a contender as #1 OD!

Other markets, from Forbes too:

"It nabbed the biggest opening day of all-time in Brazil as well with $3.5m. Germany debuted with $2.8m for the largest opening day of 2016 and the largest superhero movie ever. It had a 70% bigger opening than Deadpool, for what that’s worth.

The film opened with $2.5 million on594 Australian screens and $1.9m in Russia. It earned $1.7m in Korea and made a whopping $1.1m in the United Arab Emirates, which is apparently not only Warner’s biggest opening ever".

Deadline says #2 all-time.

"Mexico super-powered $5.8M on 3,800 screens. That includes record-breaking midnight shows. Market share was 88% and gave Warner Bros its biggest opening day ever there. BvS also scored the 2nd biggest industry bow of all time. "

Best WB and 2nd biggest industry bow of all time.
