seduh
Nice to see this, Dory was a very good sequel and it deserve the sucess (it's not one of the best animated movies at all, even for Pixar, but is was a very good sequel to one of the best animated films all time). Purple Minion
Screendaily Finding Dory has become the third release of 2016 to hit the $1bn mark at the worldwide box office, and Pixar’s second $1bn release alongside Toy Story 3. Pixar’s latest swum to an extra $8.9m from its 16 territories for $516.7m overseas and combined with its North American haul of $484.8m, it has now become the third Disney film of 2016 to hit the milestone, following Captain America: Civil War and Zootopia. Finding Dory’s leading overseas markets are Japan ($65.9m), the UK ($55m) and China ($38.4m), while it has posted strong holds across German-speaking Europe this weekend to retain top spot for the second straight week. http://www.screendaily.com/news/finding-dory-swims-past-1bn-worldwide/5110166.article?blocktitle=LATEST-FILM-NEWS&contentID=40562
Giesi
Japan has grossed $65.9M, followed by the UK at $55M and China at $38.4M. The latter figure doesn’t compare to the outsize success of some other Disney animation and live-action films, but is the best Middle Kingdom score for a Pixar movie ever as audiences become more familiar with the brand. Rounding out the Top 10 international markets are: Australia ($36.2M), Brazil ($34.5M), Mexico ($24.8M), France ($21.8M), Spain ($20M), Germany ($19.4M) and Korea ($18.2M). Finding Dory stands as the No. 3 grossing movie globally of 2016. http://deadline.com/2016/10/finding-dory-crosses-one-billion-dollars-worldwide-box-office-disney-pixar-1201833579/

Planodisney
Congrats to Dory and it still has a little bit left in the tank. At least a chance to pass Zootopia. I think people take 500 million OS for an animated film for granted. To gross 500 million OS without a huge breakout in one of the big OS markets is a great run. To have a big breakout in China or Japan is just a crapshoot. Never know when that's going to happen. Dory and Pets look to both accomplish this milestone. Dont forget that Zootopia would have finished at about 850 worldwide with just a very good run in China. But it blew up there.
