There's a church who bought over 8 million tickets for a 2-hour movie that is a compilation of the 176 1-hour episodes of a The Ten Commandments telenovela that was produced by a TV network this same church owns. All of this just for them to claim they have the biggest local movie of all time. 

 

They've spent over $25 million dollars worth of tickets with this, and they aren't stopping until the 'movie' hits 11 million admissions (the current record).

We have a religious sect here that made a film about their founder and asked all their members to watch the movie.

Box Office Prophets has spent most of their weekend analysis talking about what went wrong with the Divergent series. Not much we probably haven't already discussed but pretty fascinating nonetheless, and difficult not to agree with.
