The Force Awakens is a very apt comparison. It isn't as good as TFA - whatever your problems with that movie, it has its own beating heart and is genuinely fun/thrilling - but taken on its own terms, Dark Fate is a very solid action movie. I'd be happy to see a sequel.

 

The reshoots made it a little better.

It's the best Terminator since the 2nd one, of course that doesn't really mean much from me since they're nothing like T2 (though 3's ending was good). Davis carried the movie. Hamilton gets a mixture of good and dumb lines, plus kicks some ass. Schwarzenegger was Schwarzenegger. There's some attempts to echo T2's occasional sadness which is kind of touching I guess?

 

Entertaining enough action film and better than Genisys for sure.

I can. I would simply just not have much interest in any Terminator movie without Arnold Schwarzenegger being in it

Sounds about right, and probably better than I was expecting, considering the trailers.

Because I want to predict the flop before it happens as it's a box office forum, I'm also baffled as to why they keep releasing sequels to this franchise when none of them have been very successful since Judgement Day. This is the sort of franchise that shouldnt be touched for a while and if it is, it needs to be a reboot, not a continuation to a 30 year old movie.

Liquid metal robot made no sense to me, at least T1 was based on some physics sensibilities.

I'm surprised. Filmstarts is the biggest movie website in Germany so at least in this case where almost all fans are sceptical they are very relevant for the box office success.
The three reviewer say that it's a more than solid sequel, highlight is A. Schwarzenegger who is said to be very good (and funny(?)) in it. They also liked the new members, Sarah Connor and the directing. Their biggest point of criticism is the - in their eyes - CGI-overkill.

The last one was far from a flop. I don't have the numbers in front of me but I'm pretty sure it made more than 400 worldwide. I don't see why this one can't do at least 300. Don't think it's going to flop at all.
