DMan7
Looks about as good as the previous Hellboy movies to me.

EarlyDeadlinePredictions
Not a great trailer. Will still check it out though.
Lucasmessi12
Where's terror they (Producers) promised? Edited December 20, 2018 by Lucasmessi12
Deep Wang
So instead of letting GDT make Hellboy 3, they went with this? Yeah, HB3 wouldn't make a ton of money either, but this is gonna do just as bad, probably worse.
Horner
I think GDT was insisting on a budget of something like $120M or he wouldn't be interested in making it.
Zakiyyah6
Del Toro's movies don't make money. People can crow about that Oscar until the cows come home but none of his movies have made enough to justify the big budgets that he wants. The Shape of Water did well but it was no La La Land at the box office.

WrathOfHan
HOT TAKE: This looks good. The trailer is edited a bit weirdly, but the action looks solid. 1
incognitoo
Saw the trailer a few minutes ago. Put aside that the trailer made the impression that they're going to go full comic relief on the whole movie, I simply do not like the look of the new Hellboy. I cannot help it but my inner eye shifts to something like this whenever he shows his mug. They somehow managed to make him look like a mix between a hobo and a generic Zombie dude, not the icon I knew to be portrayed by Ron Pearlman. Macleod
Maybe if this bombs, producers/financiers will offer GDT one more chance... Hey, it's happened before... But yep, this looks very "Yikes" so far...

As we can see above, Big Ron didn't need makeup at all, they just painted his face red. With the new guy - they had to sculpt the whole demon-face from scratch, so they went for it.

I indeed suspect whats putting me of is that Harbour is practically unrecognisable under his make-up, where Pearlmans' Hellboy was always clearly Pearlman. This plus the mouth and the eyes. Both just look too artificial / unnatural to me. (hoo boy, I claim something to look unnatural in a movie about a demon saviour from hell) Well, there will always be a second trailer, so the last word has not yet been spoken. But it's a bad first impression, and these are hard to overcome.
