F2 is not about Previews at all. To me its least significant data already confirmed by weekend sales. since almost all other trackers are just looking at Previews its not an accurate representation of its weekend potential.

 

@Porthos if you have CIN and AMC, you can message me the theater list and I can extract and provide data to you. Then you can tell them what % of previews is sat PS. That is the most useful way to track family movies.

No AMCs within 60 minutes of me, so I don't track them.    I'll send a list of the Cinemarks I look at in a just a bit.

 

I can do a Thr/Sat comp as a one time thing, but it's probably not something I'd do regularly as its already pretty time consuming for what I already do and every little bit adds up.

why dont you do it for a smaller sample which is representative of overall city. I think this is just for family flicks especially outside summer. Previews may not play the leading role. I guess you can project form usual previews to OW multi but that will vary based on hype and release data as well.

Lack of interest and time, mostly.  I don't use a scraper like you do as I manually hand count everything.  And I don't have a comp system for other days, plus sitting down and figuring out which theaters to include and which to exclude.  Part of what I like about my system is that it catches when things are performing better at the less trafficked theaters.
