It is going to be a lot of drive. I am planning on leaving at 5:45 AM. Yuck

yeah I can see how would not be fun, but I am up earlier than that every day for work.  But hopefully the drive isn't too bad for you and you can enjoy yourself :)

if combined Ontario Palace 24 + Mills 30 be #11

No wonder my estimates way high...I've been using the #8 theater as my benchmark.  Didn't realize it was that far above average...

I assume Craig is back.

I wonder which studio will be releasing it,with a bidding war under way.

BTW we can count out Disney EON productions is offering a single picture deal, Disney is simply not interested in a single picture deal. SONY,Warners,Fox,and Annapurna(the dark horse entry) are the ones making a big push.

Wonder Woman over Spider-Man DOM should also be a milestone too.

That would make WW the biggest superhero origin movie ever.

Also over IM3 so it enters the top 5 CBMS domestically.

Dunkirk in IMAX already sold out at AMC Magic Johnson in Maryland tomorrow , all 4 showings- 12:45, 3:30, 6:15, 9:30

Edit - must be some organized thing or the theater is closed as the following day looks wide open

Nice increase for films like Dunkirk and Girls Trip! Universal and WB have both something exciting to write home about! And espeically WB having two duds, and now three hits and also now the third studio of 2017 to reach a $1 billion.

Fox will be the next one in September

Casino Royale is fucking next level awesomeness.

Skyfall is a really good blockbuster but its kinda Nolan-lite

You must admit the Nolan aspect mostly worked in its favor though.

Or it could be cheap day in an area which has few theaters that do it...

My one local, being one of the few cheap day observing theaters here, already has sold out 2 Girls' Trip showings, 1 DM3, 1 WW, and 1 Spidey (and 1 for a limited movie) for Tuesday...and it's midnight...it's more complete sellouts than it gets on weekends...

DM3 looks locked to win the summer WW. It has another 35-40M to come from China, another 40M to come from Japan and a minimum of another 40M from domestic, these alone would put it over Guardians 2. It has a pretty outside shot at 1B as well now.
