It's a sad day for superhero movie fans when Justice League takes 7-8 days what Suicide fucking Squad did in 3. Way to go.

Or the fact that JL finished under a WW solo movie, a GOTG movie, a Spider-Man movie and a freaking Thor movie. WB botched this. Some of their last minute marketing muscle they used for Kong would’ve really helped it.

Very impressed Coco even got that close to Moana, given that it had significantly less (and worse) marketing, a less marketable hook, a lack of starpower (no Rock+Lin), and much less buzz in general, between the songs and the toys and the costumes etc. Either the Pixar brand is getting more frontloaded, or this is headed for a very nice, backloaded run.

How does Efron keep finding work? He's becoming box office poison. He's not leading actor material as he cannot carry a film on his own not to mention he's too short. He's not a good enough actor to be a sidekick or character actor for the rest of his career. He wasn't even in the top 3 of the best things about his last hit film ("Neighbors") and that was over three years ago. Are there really that many tweens/teens/young adults faithful to his films due to his HSM days? If TGS succeeds, it won't be because of him. If it fails, it will simply be another in a string of failures for him which leads me back to my original question.

I don't there's any reason why Pixar would be more frontloaded than say, WDAS. Most likely, Coco is heading for a leggy run.

Looks like WOM is gonna be out of this world, so I would expect backloading. Kinda crazy we are getting 2 huge WOM movies in a row with Wonder and Coco.
