How much money did the OS make in this whole week? Comparing to last week?

Can it pull $10M more after this weekend?

9-10 os is my guess as well.

Dom is dropping much faster than IW.

IW 17.3 memorial day weekend, then another 32.6 over the next 14 days.

EG 17.2 mem day weekend, then another 25.9 over the next 14 days.

I'd say 838-840 dom plus 1915-1917 OS

2753-2757

It actually is only $200 less per theater. The theater count plummeted faster to make way for movies which did awful. DP kept too many theaters and did really bad this weekend.

Hopefully this week they won't screw it over as MIB will do bad.

IW lost a ton of screens this week and actually increases in PTA by $3. Frankly they would be nuts to remove a ton again.

PTA had been dropping heavily. Last week it went down 11.3% for DOM

Good thing for end game is domestic and OS market is waste land outside of Aladdin. That wont change until TS4 and Spidey. So OS is good till end of the month(TS4 release is not day and date anyway), domestically TS4 could help Endgame. So it should see good drops. But it has to drop better than what we have see till now. So far it has not taken any advantage of weak openers. That is itself not a bad thing, just that its played out in most countries at this point.

Exactly, blu-ray is coming in August (not official yet but looking at the timetable that makes the most sense) and yes, OS it will be done by the end of July, so an international re-release in August could happen. In the US it should still be in theaters, even a week before its blu-ray release, so that will be a push. And it's pretty easy to advertise, last chance to watch Endgame in theaters, that's it. People will come, probably not enough to get it to the WW record, but they will come.

OS it will be done in 2 weeks.

That lack of a China extension... there are scenarios where that could end up being the difference.  That is a very stupid reason to not like a country... but...

(yes, I know China absolutely delivered all of the goods for this movie and more... but...)

The chart seems optimistic but I will take anything

Optimistic DOM prediction for sure.

The movie is at $825M. The last two weekends were very close to Deadpool's 6th and 7th weekends (DP $8.01M and $4.9M, EG $8.04M and $4.87M). If the film will keep fallow similar pattern, it should be at around $830M by the end of the next weekend and later will add $8 million = $838M domestic. I don't think Spidey bumb will give Avengers another $8 million, more like $3 million to push it slightly over $840M mark.

OS should finish just over $1.92B.

The geometric mean of Avatar and TFA DOM is 844.00M. I would be happy for Endgame to land anywhere over that, which would mean being closer to TFA than Avatar — but I think it would require at least regaining some IMAX over Labor Day.

EG will never follow Deadpool.

Deadpool was in theatres during April and May. The Thursday to Friday Increase for Deadpool every weekend was 90% and above and the Tuesday bumps for Deadpool was always very low.

For, EG we are in summer now and EG will only increase 40%-70% every Thurs-Friday but it will also have a 30%-40% bump on Tuesdays.

This Week---> I don't see EG going below 7.35m, Deadpool had 7.1m

Also Next week, 5-6m is where EG should end-up. Deadpool had 4.7m

Things like this becoming something so popular that it’s hitting the news is what leads me to think that an expansion / re-release pushing to top Avatar will end up happening.

I'm with you on this. I think that there's a wave building among the fans that will carry it over Avatar. I've already seen Endgame 7 times already but I'd go another few times to help it finally take what is probably the record we all want to see it have.

$16 million more in North America and $10 million more OS is what we can hope for at this point, so that would be slightly higher than my range a few days ago, which was $2.750-2.755 billion. So now it would be $2.758 billion. Where did I come up with those numbers? Well I looked at where IW was this time in its run and what it had left and compared it to Endgame's daily numbers and extrapolated from that a number for it. I did add a bit more on top of that, about $1.5-2 million for Endgame in North America because it wouldn't face something like Jurassic World 2 along the way, plus a slight boost from Disney at some point in its run. Did a similar thing OS, so yeah, let's say the new range is $2.755-2.760 billion. Not as optimistic as Charlie, but from me this is as optimistic as it comes.

Agreed.

I've seen quite a few articles like this popping up, and the more the media hypes it, the more likely Disney will give the push.

It ain't over till it's over.

Also, if they re-released in IMAX I'd be in line for a ticket.

Labour Day IMAX expansion seems like a good idea to me.
